Rook
John Cappelletty (born October 13, 1993), known professionally as RookXX (Rook), is an American drummer, music producer, and songwriter from Toledo, Ohio, working out of Los Angeles, California, best known as the current drummer for hip hop, emo-rock and rap-rock artist Machine Gun Kelly (MGK). Rook worked with Kid Rock in his 2017 eleventh studio album Sweet Southern Sugar, playing the drums on the song “Grandpa’s Jam”. [ He featured as a drummer in the 2017 song “The Gunner”, included in MGK’s third studio album Bloom. He also featured as a drummer in “LIVEFASTDIEYOUNG”, part of MGK’s 2019 extended play, BINGE. In 2019, Rook drummed for MGK in his single “why are you here”, and in “Hollywood Whore”, part of MGK’s fourth studio album Hotel Diablo, featuring as the drummer in the music video for “Hollywood Whore”.
